As part of the TIQUE project, an initiative of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, we visited participating hospitals in Barcelona, Ariano Irpino and Västerbotten. During these visits, we gained valuable insights into local care pathways for heart failure patients and the important role telemonitoring can play in these regions. To make the Viduet platform accessible across multiple countries, we are proud to introduce a new feature that makes the platform available in eight different languages.
In all three regions, we had the privilege of meeting patients, cardiologists, general practitioners, nurses and other dedicated professionals, including staff from the Emergency Department and the Heart Failure Unit. It was especially valuable to engage with different departments within the hospitals and gain first-hand insights into the workflows and experiences of the various teams. This makes it an exciting challenge to further develop the platform in a way that allows every stakeholder to benefit from telemonitoring.
The platform now not only allows users to select their preferred language, but also enables different language settings for healthcare professionals and patients. For example, a healthcare professional can use the platform in Spanish, while the patient chooses to view it in Catalan.
