The internship
Our Viduet platform can be used in many different ways and for many different groups of patients to enable digital remote care. Consequently, the demand from healthcare organizations for the applications on our Viduet platform has been rising tremendously recently. In order for a healthcare innovation to actually be implemented and reimbursed by health insurers, however, it is important to demonstrate (scientifically) that users are satisfied and that the innovation is medically effective. We have several projects in the pipeline where a hospital, general practice, or other healthcare organization is going to use our Viduet platform and where we are looking for a researcher to chart the progress, patient and caregiver satisfaction, and benefits our platform is bringing to the practice. We always focus on the concept of co-creation, and recommendations from the research are incorporated directly into the further development of the Viduet platform. Below are three examples for possible internship projects at Viduet Health, but much more is possible!
- Implementation of Viduet for the purpose of network care in pediatrics.
- Implementation of SmartCOPD in primary care.
- Implementation of home blood pressure monitoring in home nursing.
Job Requirements
You are pursuing or have completed a college degree in the field of health sciences, innovation science, or similar. You have a good command of the Dutch language and are socially adept. You are also able to set up a structured research project and clearly describe the results. The final report can convince a health insurer of the innovation’s added value to healthcare.
