How does it work?
The patient receives a blood pressure measurement package from Viduet. Viduet checks and calibrates the measuring equipment and makes sure it is delivered to the patient. The patient engages in multi-day protoccluded blood pressure measurement. Viduet provides a guide for this and can assist if needed.
Viduet can set signals at certain readings, if the caregiver so desires. Thus, the caregiver or caregiver can be alerted to an extremely high reading, or to any reading the caregiver desires.
Also, for a given value, the patient can be redirected to the home doctor website to read more.
The measurement results are automatically put into a clear report, which can be viewed directly on the Viduet dashboard. In addition, results of the protocolled weekly measurement can be sent immediately to the HIS as a lab value. All results can be viewed at any time, with insight into the trend over time.

Safely discharge patients earlier from hospital using home monitoring
coronavirusCOVID-19 going home earlier
With this care module, Viduet provides an opportunity for patients with COVID-19 to spend less time in the hospital. When patients are stable enough, home monitoring allows them to go home earlier. Patients are monitored at home for oxygen saturation, body temperature, respiratory rate and relevant symptoms. If desired, Viduet also offers the ability to monitor patients for glucose day curves. To perform all these measurements, the patient receives Viduet-connected measuring devices. Patients measure at agreed-upon measurement times and easily sync their measurements in the Viduet app. For monitoring for symptoms, the patient completes daily questionnaires. Once threshold values for symptoms or readings are exceeded, patients and caregivers are immediately alerted in the desired manner. In this way, immediate and appropriate action can be taken as soon as the situation calls for it.spo2Pre- and Post-clinical monitoring with oxygen
spo2Oxygen at home (COVID-19)
This care module can be used in addition to other COVID-19 care modules. Through this care module, Viduet offers the ability to monitor patients who are monitored at home while also being offered oxygen at home. Within this care module, patients receiving home oxygen from Vivisol are monitored by Vivisol nurse dispatchers. In that case, they not only monitor for symptoms appropriate to COVID, but also monitor the patient's oxygen use. Through questionnaires, patients report their oxygen use in the Viduet app. Viduet brings oxygen use trends to Vivisol, hospital caregivers and the patient themselves. Insights from these readings can be used by health care providers to optimize treatment. Changes in oxygen consumption are noted by Vivisol and are compared with measured oxygen saturation values. When thresholds are exceeded, Vivisol contacts the patient's healthcare provider. In this way, patients receiving oxygen can be monitored safely at home. Finally, through Viduet's home monitoring, Vivisol can also remotely support the safe withdrawal of oxygen and any medication.coronavirusGain more insight into the rehabilitation process of Long COVID patients
coronavirusLong COVID
This care module enables a better understanding of the rehabilitation process of Long COVID patients and supports patients with Long COVID during their recovery. This care module uses questionnaires to monitor progress and any complaints. Viduet makes trends in symptoms progress insightful for both patient and caregiver. In this way, caregiver and patient gain a better understanding of the rehabilitation process and a person-centered treatment plan can be determined. Since optimal movement patterns can greatly enhance the rehabilitation process of Long COVID patients, it is recommended to combine this module with the use of the Activity Coach.directions_walkCoach the patient to adopt an optimal exercise pattern
directions_walkActivity Coach
Exercise is an important factor that can influence patients' disease course. Using the Activity Coach care module, you ensure that the patient is coached to adopt optimal movement patterns. Thus, the patient is coached, without overexerting himself, to still move enough to promote the rehabilitation process. When you choose to deploy the Activity Coach, the patient will track their movement patterns through the smartwatch. Using our specially developed software for this smartwatch, the patient will be coached throughout the day to move within the ranges set by their healthcare provider, even if the patient moves too much. This care module can easily be combined with coaching by a physical therapist. In that case, the physical therapist can set the optimal bandwidths and adjust them as needed. Through a smart algorithm, Viduet recognizes when the patient moves out of bandwidth for an extended period of time. Viduet can then also inform the physical therapist and patient in the desired manner, so that the set bandwidths can be revised if necessary.

Keep patient out of hospital using home monitoring
coronavirusCOVID-19 home monitoring
With this care module, Viduet offers the ability to monitor and treat patients with COVID-19 while they stay at home. When patients are stable enough, they can be kept out of the hospital with home monitoring. Patients are monitored at home for oxygen saturation, body temperature, respiratory rate and relevant symptoms. If desired, Viduet also offers the ability to monitor patients for glucose day curves. To perform all these measurements, the patient receives Viduet-connected measuring devices. Once threshold values for symptoms or readings are exceeded, patients and caregivers are immediately alerted in the desired manner. In this way, immediate and appropriate action can be taken as soon as the situation calls for it. If desired, it is also possible to involve a medical service center in the monitoring. Nurse centralists can then monitor patients remotely and contact the caregiver as soon as the situation calls for it. This may be a way to use home monitoring even more efficiently.
Monitor patients remotely and take the right actions in a timely manner
Viduet’s design lends itself well to transmural care pathways. This allows easy referral of patients between primary and secondary care. Viduet helps you design the transmural care pathways of patients with COVID-19 as efficiently as possible. In this way, all caregivers involved will have a better understanding of their patient’s health, and everyone can spend their time as efficiently as possible. Validated intervention that reduces hospitalization days in COPD patients by as much as 79%
pulmonologySmartCOPD regional
SmartCOPD, formerly known as EmmaCOPD, is a validated intervention that can reduce hospitalization days by as much as 79%. This care module involves an implementation of SmartCOPD in which different healthcare providers within the region work together around the patient. The SmartCOPD intervention consists of a combination of the Digital Lung Attack Action Plan (DigiLAP) and the Activity Coach. SmartCOPD helps patients adopt optimal movement patterns and to independently recognize lung attacks and take appropriate action immediately when necessary. The SmartCOPD regional care module is designed to help first and second lines work better with each other and make referrals easier. In 2018-2020, LUMC conducted research on the effectiveness of SmartCOPD in patients who had two or more exacerbations with hospitalization per year prior to the study. The results of this study show statistically significant evidence that SmartCOPD reduces hospitalization days by 79% in this target group. The results were published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR) in April 2021. Through the SmartCOPD regional care module, Viduet enables hospital, family physician, home care, physical therapists, and medical direction centers to work together around the patient. This is made possible in part by the architecture of the platform. The image below shows schematically, using the Viduet care rings model, how Viduet enables this collaboration. Viduet makes it easy to appropriately engage each involved healthcare provider in the patient's care pathway. First, all involved caregivers are easily added to the patient's community. Then, with a single button-press in the personal care program, caregivers can prepare a complete care path, including the desired settings for handling signals, for a new patient. In this way, the patient's care path can also be easily converted at any time. This allows patients who are referred or referred back to be easily transitioned to their new care pathway.coronavirusTransmural care for COVID-19 patients
